Father's Day
I have had the pleasure with which to talk with a lot of the Dads out there this Father's Day. I made a statement on my Facebook page located @ Brian Allan Bode, a while back regarding being a Father. I have never been married nor have I ever had any children. BUT! I have helped out considerably with friends of mine that do have children and it has been so wonderful to watch them grow up. I wish I were a better Uncle to my own Niece and Nephew with whom I love so dearly and even though I take FULL accountability for not being around during their most formidable years,I am making great strides personally to be a part of their adult life.
That being said, Fatherhood is a very important responsibility and I am so happy to see a those I hold very dear to me as friends, raising such wonderful kids, well heck, young adults now! The ole cliche that time goes by so fast is so true. So, without further ado, may I extend my sincere heart-felt congratulations to all you DADS out there and be proud of your accomplishments as being Father's. The one regret I do have is not having children of my own, but I hope I have been a good Uncle to the friends with which I have been a part of watching your little ones grow up. A job well done to you all and Happy Father's Day to you, one and all!
